Estratto dall’album Bully, il singolo ALL THE LOVE in collaborazione con André Troutman, cattura l’essenza del nuovo progetto di Ye. La canzone è nata quasi per caso nell’aprile 2025, durante una diretta streaming, trasformandosi da un freestyle improvvisato di otto minuti in una delle tracce chiave dell’unreleased album CUCK.
Il significato di “All the Love”
In questo brano, Ye esplora la complessa gestione del proprio ego e del dolore legato al disturbo bipolare. Il verso principale, “We left all the pain behind” (abbiamo lasciato tutto il dolore alle spalle), suona come un mantra di guarigione e richiama le sue recenti scuse pubbliche.
Un dettaglio curioso riguarda l’evoluzione del testo: nelle prime versioni leakate, Ye cantava “lies” (bugie) al posto di “love” (amore). Anche se nella versione finale è tornata la parola “love”, l’interpretazione resta ambigua.
Il brano suggerisce che l’affetto del pubblico e le menzogne della fama siano due facce della stessa medaglia, analizzando quel bisogno di attenzioni che, una volta ottenuto, non si placa ma diventa ancora più forte.
