Pioggia di nomination per Justin Timberlake, che si conferma la star del momento anche agli MTV European Music Awards, che si svolgeranno ad Amsterdam il 10 novembre 2013. La popstar ha ricevuto ben 5 nomination nelle categorie “Best male”, “Best live”, “Best video per la canzone Mirrors", “Best look”, e “Best US act”. A tenergli testa Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, nominati come “Best song per Thrift Shop" e “Best hip hop”. A seguire con 4 nomination a testa ci sono Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus e Robin Thicke. Gaga e la Cyrus si affrontano nella categoria “Best female” insieme a Katy Perry, Selena Gomez e Taylor Swift.

In gara per il “Best video” ci sono la Cyrus con il singolo “Wrecking ball”, Gaga con “Applause”, e Robin Thicke con la sua “Blurred lines”. Nominati anche Bruno Mars (“Best song” per Locked out of heaven, e “Best male”), i Daft Punk (“Best song” e “Best electronic), Eminem (“Best male”, “Best hip hop”), Beyoncé (“Best live”), Bastille (“Best new”). Nella categoria “Biggest fans” si contenderanno il titolo Tokio Hotel, 30 Seconds To Mars, One Direction, Justin Bieber e Lady Gaga.
