È morto l'attore di "Beautiful" e "Modern Family" Fred Willard

È stato John Forrester in "Beautiful" e Frank in "Modern Family". All'età di 86 anni è morto l'attore comico Fred Willard, per cause naturali. A darne per prima la notizia è stata Jamie Lee Curtis, che su Twitter ha scritto: "Abbiamo avuto tanta fortuna a godere dei regali di Fred Willard". 

Poi è arrivato anche l'annuncio via social dalla figlia Hope, che scrive per lui parole bellissime: "Mio padre è morto in pace la scorsa notte alla fantastica età di 86 anni. Ha continuato a muoversi, lavorare e renderci felici tutti fino alla fine. Lo abbiamo amato così tanto. Ci mancherà per sempre".

Importante anche la sua partecipazione a "Best in Show". Ha ricevuto tre candidature agli Emmy come miglior attore guest star in una serie tv commedia, grazie al ruolo in "Tutti amano Raymond", e una volta per "Modern Family". Nella sua lunga vita ha partecipato a più di 300 film e serie tv, tra cui: "Get Smart", "The Bob Newhart Show", "Laverne & Shirley", "The Love Boat", "Golden Girls", "Roseanne", "Married... with Children", "Lois & Clark", "Mad About You" e "Ally McBeal".

Ma non solo commedie e serie tv, Fred ha recitato anche in film importanti come "Anchorman" e "WALL•E". Molti colleghi hanno speso parole bellissime per salutare Fred, era un uomo gentile ed educato, e un comico insuperabile.
