La nuova illusione ottica che vi farà impazzire

Sembra magia, invece si tratta “solo” di fisica e matematica. Il video qui sotto mostra la "Best Illusion of the Year", cioè l’illusione ottica premiata come la migliore dell’anno, frutto della mente del matematico giapponese Kokichi Sugihara.

La freccia punta a destra, poi la si muove… e continua a puntare a destra! Un lato prima è acuminato, dopo diventa tondo. Magia? Ma no, semplice illusione ottica! Come spiega il matematico, il merito è della prospettiva.

Quella che sembra una freccia dall’angolazione dell’inquadratura è invece un oggetto 3D simmetrico, che rivela la sua vera forma solo se guardata dall’alto.
