Tiramisù dei record: la nuova lunghezza ufficiale è di 440 metri

A Londra, negli spazi della Chelsea Old Town Hall, un team tutto italiano ha letteralmente riscritto i numeri del Guinness World Records, assemblando un tiramisù da 440,58 metri. 

L’impresa non ha solo battuto il record precedente (i 273,5 metri registrati a Milano nel 2019), ma lo ha quasi raddoppiato, andando ben oltre i 300 metri che gli organizzatori si erano prefissati all’inizio.

Due giorni di lavoro e cento pasticceri per un’impresa da Guinness

Per raggiungere questo risultato ci sono voluti due giorni di sforzi continui. Sotto la guida del maestro Mirko Ricci e del gruppo Etica del Gusto, una squadra di oltre cento persone tra professionisti e volontari ha lavorato senza sosta.

Perché il primato fosse valido, il dolce doveva rispettare misure precise: almeno 15 centimetri di larghezza e 8 di altezza. Gli chef hanno quindi optato per una struttura a “serpentina”, unendo trenta file curve da 8 metri ciascuna in un’unica, lunghissima sequenza.

Tutti gli ingredienti usati

Alla fine, il giudice Lorenzo Veltri ha ufficializzato il sorpasso sui vecchi primati. Il dolce, che ha mantenuto rigorosamente gli 8 centimetri di altezza e i 15 centimetri di base, è stato realizzato con volumi di ingredienti impressionanti:19mila uova, due tonnellate di mascarpone, 400 chili di zucchero e oltre 128mila savoiardi.

Una dedica reale

L’iniziativa ha voluto unire il prestigio della pasticceria veneta a un gesto di cortesia verso il Paese ospitante. Il tiramisù è stato infatti dedicato a Re Carlo III e alla Regina Camilla, decorando la crema con lettere d’oro che riportavano i messaggi: “Grazie Your Majesty” –  Grazie Vostra Maestà.

Over 50,000 ladyfingers. 3,000+ eggs. Built live over two days at Chelsea Old Town Hall, beating the previous record of 273.5m set in Milan. More than just a record, a proper celebration of food, culture and community, all brought together for a charitable cause as well.
