Pop Smoke: la ragazza condivide gli ultimi momenti prima dell'omicidio del rapper

Il 19 febbraio 2020, il rapper Pop Smoke è morto a seguito di una sparatoria nella sua abitazione. Ancora molto mistero sul movente. All'inizio si credeva che l'omicida fosse un ladro, poi questa ipotesi ha lasciato spazio a una più inquietante: l'uomo che avrebbe sparato una serie di colpi di arma da fuoco contro l'artista non avrebbe preso niente dall'appartamento. Lo sconcerto è tanto, e tra chi non si dà pace c'è la fidanzata di Pop Smoke. La ragazza ha parlato per la prima volta dopo la sua morte. 

La donna ha condiviso su Instagram un video che li ritrae insieme, per l'ultima volta. È anche l'ultima volta in cui lei lo ha visto. Nel filmato, che dura solo qualche istante, Yummy Yellow abbraccia il suo uomo in macchina. A lui dedica anche un commento dolcissimo. 

"Sono una madre prima di tutto, ma un amante? Non così tanto. Più penso e più mi rendo conto che tendo ad avere un cuore freddo, ma tu sei riuscito a scaldarlo", inizia così il post della donna. "Ci siamo insegnati reciprocamente l'autocoscienza. È una cosa rara. Mai una volta hai provato a cambiarmi. Non ha mai smesso di stupirmi con la tua onestà, sapevo tutto, intendo tutto. Mi hai detto che non ti eri mai fidato di una ragazza prima, ma ora eri disposto a farlo". 

"Dopo un po' ci siamo esplorati a vicenda, giorno dopo giorno", continua Yummy. "Ti ho abbracciato tutta la notte prima di quel volo per Cali. Non nemmeno dire che co saremmo dovuti dire ti amo di più quella notte, perché l'abbiamo detto più di 20 volte".

"Pop ti amo. Ti adoro. Hai superato le mie aspettative come uomo. Ho provato a proteggerti da tutto, lo sai. [...] Non smetterò mai di amarti". Queste parole vanno dritte al cuore e ci riempiono di tristezza. Il rapper aveva solo 20 anni.

Can’t even say we should of said I love u more that night/morning cause we said it over 20 times. U even came back after leaving the house & said “didn’t I say lock the door?,” with your 2 pigtails cause ya hair wasn’t braided over yet Babe ur growth in everyday life & the industry was like nothing I’ve ever seen.
